Park & Pools

Pool Rules

1. The pool opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM.

2. The pool is for residents and their guests only. A resident must accompany all non-resident guests. Because of capacity limitations, residents are limited to 2 guests per adult.

3. Each adult can be responsible for no more than 5 children under the age of 13, whether resident or guest. A waiver may be obtained for resident families with more than 5 children under the age of 13.

4. By order of the King County Health Department, children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Violation of this rule may result in closure of the pool by the Health Department.

5. There is no lifeguard on duty. The adult supervisor is responsible for the safety of the children.

6. The pool gate must be closed and locked at all times by order of the King County Health Department.

7. No large floating toys such as inner tubes, boogie boards, air mattresses, etc. are allowed in the pool area.

8. The pool is shallow (5 feet maximum)! No diving or flipping is allowed.

9. Absolutely no glass or food is allowed within the fenced pool area.

10. Playing of music in the pool area is prohibited (use of headphones is allowed).

11. Babies must wear both diapers and swimsuits while in the pool. Please dispose of diapers in the trash cans outside the pool area.

12. Activities that endanger the safety of others are prohibited. These include ball throwing, horseplay or running around the pool.

13. Items that may potentially clog the pool’s filter system are prohibited in the pool. This includes cut-offs, frayed clothing, water balloons, etc.


Park Rules
1. The park is open from 5 AM to 11 PM. Any person (resident or non-resident) in the park outside these posted hours is subject to trespassing laws.

2. No organized company or team parties are allowed in the park or pool.

3. The park may not be used for team practices such a Little League or soccer.

4. Posted time limits for play at the tennis court are 1 hour for singles and 1 ½ hours for doubles.

5. The tennis court is for racquet sports only. Roller blades, roller skates, skateboards and bikes are allowed on the basketball court but must give way to basketball players when both groups are utilizing the basketball court.

6. Only court shoes are allowed on the court surfaces (tennis and basketball). Do not mark up the courts with added lines or anything that might harm the surface.

7. Dogs must be kept on a leash, as elsewhere in the neighborhood. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

8. Fireworks are prohibited in the park and on the trails at all times.

9. All events in the park (birthday parties, etc.) can have at most 30 people. Special permission must be requested for larger events. All events are pack-in pack-out; do not use the park trashcans for large events, they fill weekly without special events.
